Sifu Paul Vunak

A JKD legend

Paul Vunak's JKD expression has always been focused on authentic combat. His unique approach to streamlining Jeet Kune Do and developing it into an actionable training method for everyone is unmatched in our time...

He called this approach RAT, which stands for Rapid Assault Tactics. Paul Vunak's methods were adopted by the SEALS, the FBI and the CIA, as well as a dozen police SWAT teams. The US Navy SEALS brought in Paul Vunak to teach them his unique system after Seal Team Six founder Richard Marcinko's extensive worldwide search for the best close combat system in the 1980s.

Bruce Lee's Jeet Kune Do has always been one

Art of growth and progress!

Over time, the art has evolved into many different facets, but has still remained the most comprehensive self-defense and street fighting art we have today.

Dan Inosanto & Paul Vunak

Bruce Lee's JKD has developed with the help and guidance of all his teachers in various genres of our culture.

JKD is alive and present in our films, sports, government and pop culture like never before.

Chris himself:,,

The origin of Jeet Kune Do remains what it is, from the street, for the street!

I keep this species alive to pass it on to the next generation."

Sifu Chris Hille

Chris Hille first came into contact with Paul's Vunak JKD concept in 1998 through his then Kick & Thaibox trainer Mike Welsch. He was able to identify with this type of fighting very quickly and had a talent for understanding the complex content and training concepts and quickly implementing them.

Starting out teaching in parking lots, he managed to build a name for himself locally and consolidate personal contact with Paul Vunak. From 2014 it was clear to Paul Vunak that Chris should spread the CJKD in Germany again for him!

In 2021 he was personally appointed Senior Instructor by Paul for his loyalty and performance towards Paul Vunak.

Hardly anyone else in Germany can demonstrate so much third-hand expertise after 25 years of intensive study and teaching.

Chris Hille is now an expert in his field when it comes to realistic self-defense for the street.
